“It isn’t really guns that the gun controllers are afraid of; it’s a country where individual agency is still superior to organized control, where the trains don’t run on time and orders don’t mean anything. It’s afraid of individual power.”
Guns are how we misspell evil. Guns are how we avoid talking about the ugly realities of human nature while building sandcastles on the shores of utopia.
It’s not about the fear of what one motivated maniac can do in a crowded place, but about the precariousness of social control that the killing sprees expose. Every murder tears apart the myth that government is the answer.
The gun control issue is about solving individual evil through central planning in a shelter big enough for everyone. A Gun Free Zone where everyone is a target and lives under the illusion that they aren’t. A society where everyone is drawing peace signs on colored notepaper while waiting under their desks for the bomb to fall.
That brand of control isn’t authority, it’s authority in panic mode believing that if it imposes total zero tolerance control then there will be no more shootings. And every time the dumb paradigm is blown to bits with another shotgun, then the rush is on to reinforce it with more total zero control tolerance.
Zero tolerance for the Second Amendment makes sense. If you ban all guns, except for those in the hands of the 708,000 police officers, some of the 1.5 million members of the armed forces, the security guards at armored cars and banks, the bodyguards of celebrities who call for gun control, and any of the other people who need a gun to do their job, then you’re sure to stop all shootings.
So long as none of those millions of people, or their tens of millions of kids, spouses, parents, grandchildren, girlfriends, boyfriends, roommates and anyone else who has access to them and their living spaces, carries out one of those shootings.
But this isn’t really about stopping shootings; it’s about the belief that the problem is individual, not evil, and that if we make sure that everyone who has guns is following government orders, then control will be asserted and the problem will stop.
It’s the central planning solution to evil.
We’ll never know the full number of people who were killed by Fast and Furious. We’ll never know how many were killed by Obama’s regime change operation in Libya, with repercussions in Mali and Syria. But everyone involved in that was following orders. There was no individual agency, just agencies. There were orders to run guns to Mexico and the cartel gunmen who killed people had orders to shoot. There was nothing random or unpredictable about it.
Gun control is the assertion that the problem is not the guns; it’s the lack of central planning for shooting people. It’s the individual.
A few million people with little sleep, taut nerves and PTSD are not a problem so long as there is someone to give them orders. A hundred million people with guns and no orders are a major problem. Historically though it’s millions of people with guns who follow orders who have been more of a problem than millions of people with guns who do not.
Moral agency is individual. You can’t outsource it to a government and you wouldn’t want to.
The impulses, the codes of character, the concepts of right and wrong, take place at the level of the individual.
Organizations do not sanctify this process. They do not lift it above its fallacies or do a very good job of keeping sociopaths and murderers from rising high enough to give orders.
Gun control does not control guns, it gives the illusion of controlling people, and when it fails those in authority are able to say that they did everything that they could short of giving people the ability to defend themselves.
We live under the rule of organizers, community and otherwise, committed to bringing their perfect state into being through the absolute control over people, and the violent acts of lone madmen are a reminder that such control is fleeting and that attempting to control a problem often makes it worse by removing the natural human crowdsourced responses that would otherwise come into play.
People do kill people and the only way to stop that is by killing them first. To a utopian this is a moral paradox that invalidates everything that came before it, but to everyone else, it’s just life in a world where evil is a reality, not just a word.
Anyone who really hankers after a world without guns would do well to try the 12th Century which was not a nicer place for lack of guns. The same firepower that makes it possible for one homicidal maniac to kill a dozen unarmed people also makes it that much harder to recreate a world where a single family can rule over millions and one man in armor can terrify hundreds of peasants.
Putting miniature cannons in the hands of every peasant made the American Revolution possible. The ideals of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution would have meant very little without an army of ordinary men armed with weapons that made them a match for the superior organization and numbers of a world power.
Would Thomas Jefferson, the abiding figurehead of the Democratic Party, who famously wrote, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants”, really have shuddered at the idea of peasants with assault rifles, or would he have grinned at the playing field being leveled?
But the Democratic Party is no longer the party of Thomas Jefferson. It’s the party of King George III. And it doesn’t like the idea of armed peasants, not because an occasional peasants goes on a shooting spree, but because like a certain dead mad king who liked to talk to trees, it believes that government power comes before individual liberty. Like that dead king, it believes that it means this for the benefit of the peasants who will be better off being told what to do.
The question is the old elemental one about government control and individual agency. And tragedies like the one that just happened take us back to the equally old question of whether individual liberty is a better defense against human evil than the entrenched organizations of government.
Do we want a society run by kings and princes who commit atrocities according to a plan for a better society, or by peasants with machine guns? The kings can promise us a world without evil, but the peasant with a machine gun promises us that we can protect ourselves from evil when it comes calling.
It isn’t really guns that the gun controllers are afraid of; it’s a country where individual agency is still superior to organized control, where the trains don’t run on time and orders don’t mean anything. It’s afraid of individual power.
Evil finds heavy firepower appealing, but the firepower works both ways.
A world where the peasants have assault rifles is a world where peasant no longer means a man without any rights. And while it may also mean the occasional brutal shooting spree, those sprees tend to happen in the outposts of utopia, the gun-free zones with zero tolerance for firearms. An occasional peasant may go on a killing spree, but a society where the peasants are all armed is also far more able to stop such a thing without waiting for the men-at-arms to be dispatched from the castle.
An armed society spends more time stopping evil than contemplating it. It is the disarmed society that is always contemplating it as a thing beyond its control.
Helpless people must find something to think about while waiting for their kings and princes to do something about the killing. Instead of doing something about it themselves, they blame the freedom that left the killer free to kill, instead of the lack of freedom that prevented them from being able to stop him.

Perhaps the choice is not between Democrat and Republican in the long run
– but between individual liberty or subordination to rank hypocrisy.
If history is any guide many, perhaps even the majority, will choose welfare over freedom. Give me bread and call me stupid, but only give me bread. Lord Bevin boasted upon creating the welfare state “I stuffed their mouths with gold.” People today are not so demanding. They’ll be happy with chump change. - – Belmont Club » Yee Gads

A Lot of People in This Country Are Tired of The Shit Pouring out of D.C. There is an ill Wind Blowing.
When a political system becomes polarized between the forces of freedom and the forces of totalitarianism, then the forces of freedom have to win every single election. Meanwhile the totalitarians only have to win one election and then spend the rest of time reconstructing civic institutions, mobilizing thugs and making it structurally impossible for the other side to compete.
Even if the other side occasionally wins elections, the totalitarian process continues chugging along because the totalitarian side follows no rules while holding its opponents to above and beyond the letter of the law. The law constrains the ability of the law-abiding party to undo the work of the totalitarian party, but not the ability of the totalitarian party to pursue its agenda and undo the work of its opponents.
When one side is on a long march through the institutions while the other seeks consensus, the long marchers will win.
A democratic political system in which a leading political faction is totalitarian cannot endure.
We understand the practical lessons of that in Egypt, but less so in the United States. A political process that included the Muslim Brotherhood could not continue. Everyone except Obama Inc. prattling on about inclusive politics understood that. The rightfully elected status of Morsi did not matter. What did matter was that the Muslim Brotherhood could not and would not work together with anyone. It did not want an open political process, it wanted absolute power.
If the Democratic Party continues to function as a radical leftist party, abiding by no laws, imposing radical change unilaterally, and using its media to cover for its corruption and political sins, the United States will face a Venezuelan or Egyptian scenario.
The United States is a fairly civilized place. Its people, despite the recession, are doing fairly well. It may not seem like that when we look at the unemployment rates, but unlike the Egyptians, we can afford bread and unlike the Venezuelans, our stores still have milk and toilet paper. There are still enough job prospects out there, that people haven’t given up. At least not all of them.
That’s why the Tea Party, America’s Orange Revolution or Arab Spring, was fairly muted by comparison. Its participants were older, educated and prosperous. If they actually were the illiterate violent armed rabble that the left has done its best to portray them as, the scenes in Cairo and Caracas would be replaying themselves in the United States.
The Tea Party was a political protest on the right by the small businessman and the established professional. It was and is an effort by a threatened middle class to salvage its position that for all its moments of anger lacked the violent desperation that we see in Venezuela. But the differences lie in political culture and desperation. The political culture has been polarized and degraded to its lowest points. The rising left is angrier and more militant than ever and the right is coming to feel that the political process is useless and its gatekeepers are biased against them.
Combine that perception with more economic hammer blows against the middle class by the redistributionists, add a sense of hopelessness and contrast that with growing arrogance by the powers of the left and things will get very ugly.
America’s Two Party system has worked because both parties, for the most part, were not absolutists. The exceptions, like FDR, did a great deal of damage, but their sway was limited. What has changed is the level of mobilization, coordination and integration on the left. Social institutions, major corporations, the media, unions, non-profits and the educational system have been knitted together into a totalitarian entity with an agenda. This state of affairs transcends democracy and cannot be remedied by democratic elections.
Even if Republicans were to win the White House and dominate the House and the Senate, they would still face a totalitarian entity whose judges would make laws, whose media would subvert democracy, whose educational institutions and entertainment industry would reprogram the people and whose bureaucracy would undermine any decision that it did not like.
Every area of life is being politicized and this politicization did not take place as a result of elections and cannot be stopped with mere elections. The politicization of everything is the indication of a totalitarian movement at work. To politicize a thing is to claim ownership over it. Universal politicization means absolute power for the politicizers.
Political conflicts with totalitarians are a cultural war. The totalitarians employ every cultural, political and economic element that they can against their enemies. They follow only those laws that are convenient meanwhile they multiply laws to pin down their opponents. They define entire elements of the population that they hope to dismpower or destroy, whether it’s the Copts in Egypt or the private sector middle class in the United States, and execute their plans.
Resisting totalitarians cannot simply be an electoral activity. In a system of democratic political elections, the ballot box becomes the weakest element in defying totalitarians who can always find ways to buy elections, steal elections or convince the people that if they don’t vote the wrong way then the sky will fall and the oceans will rise. Those who follow no laws have many options; those who follow them have only a few.
The electoral wars matter, but the totalitarians have to be fought for control of every institutions and defied at every point of control. It’s not enough to win an election, their ideas have to be discredited. It’s not enough to swap out politicians when entire institutions have to be swapped out. The core solution isn’t political; it’s personal. It’s in how we live.
Totalitarians politicize everything. And that really means everything from the food you eat to the books you watch to the way you heat your home and drive to work. Individually we can all make choices that neutralize the politicization even in matters as simple as choosing the movies we watch or leaving products with environmentalist tripe on the packaging on the shelf. Local battles are also bigger battles as Common Core demonstrates. And the synagogue or church you attend is also a statement of support for the left or a rejection of the left.
The first stage of a culture war is to cease supporting the enemy. The second stage is to push back by building up your institutions that make your way of life possible. The third stage is to use those institutions against the enemy.
Anyone can engage in the first stage of the culture war by making more conservative choices. The second stage requires a bit more planning, but it’s a product of the first stage. And when the institutions of the second stage become powerful enough and successful enough, then the third stage becomes possible.
Elections alone will not defeat the left. Totalitarian movements aren’t defeated at the voting booth, but in the hearts of men and women. And if their grip on power continues, then the scenes of violence and terror that we see on the evening news will come to our streets and cities.

Here’s the article on Market Watch. To quote: “To be sure, as McClellan acknowledged: “Every pattern analog I have ever studied breaks correlation eventually, and often at the point when I am most counting on it to continue working. So there is no guarantee that the market has to continue following through with every step of the 1929 pattern. But between now and May 2014, there is plenty of reason for caution.”
As the adage goes, “Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”
I don’t pretend to understand the stock market, much less economics in general. But I do know there are endless precedents in history which should give us fair warning that things are not as stable and cheery as our government would have us believe. That’s why we prep.
Preppers often are students of history. They’re read about the decline and fall of the Roman Empire. They know about the fall of Greece. They’ve studied the Black Plague. They’re aware of the French Revolution. They’ve studied the American Revolution. They know the Great Depression inside and out.
And above all, they know that history has an annoying habit of repeating itself.
The history of humanity is one of struggle, strife, bloodshed, famine, competition for resources, and other discouragements. It’s a cycle. It’s happened again and again. But most people tend to think that anything that hasn’t happened since the time they were born hasn’t happened before, but of course that’s patently untrue.
In the last hundred years, most Americans have not had to deal with these difficulties on our soil. We’ve fought wars, but those have been overseas. We’ve competed for resources, but we’ve always won. Our innovation as a nation has meant we’ve been blessed with untold material comfort and food safety.
But this doesn’t mean we’ll never have to handle challenges. When we refuse to learn from history, or think history cannot repeat itself, or think we are immune to historical precedent, in our arrogance we are therefore doomed to repeat it.
People often deny that history could ever repeat itself. “This time,” they assure us, “it’s different” – without ever being able to specify what “it” is and why it would be different this time.
We like to think we live in unique times. To some extent, we do. At no other time in history has our knowledge of technology and medical skills been higher. But human nature never changes, and it’s our human flaws as well as unforeseen environmental or natural disasters that can bring even a mighty civilization to its knees.
Besides being a fascinating study, history offers a useful guide for how to handle current or future events. Being prepared to handle crises (both personally and as a nation) such as hunger, loss of resources, and other catastrophes is never a bad thing.
But rather astonishingly, some people DO look upon this thoughtful regard for history as just that – a bad thing. History has shown that governments of even the freest nations eventually turn rogue, grow cancerously large, become increasingly paranoid and suspicious, begin to steal liberties from citizens, and eventually become tyrannical, oppressive, and mistrustful of anyone who seeks to recapture individual independence and freedom.
We are currently in that state.
Our nation has come to view those who prefer to NOT depend on the government as everything from lovable crackpots to domestic terrorists. This is shortsighted in the extreme, but that’s the nature of government and its useful idiots.
That is why I urge people to study history in conjunction with preparedness. Take a look at prior civilizations and note the nature of the calamities most likely to affect us, and think what you yourself can do to mitigate the possibilities.
Naturally, preparing in no way guarantees we can avoid calamities; it simply means we try our best to minimize the impact.
“You may still be inclined to dismiss this,” notes the Market Watch article. “But there were many more were laughing last November when this scary chart began circulating. Not as many are laughing now.”
Anarchy and Chaos in The Ukraine – It Could Happen Here – But Will Americans Actually Stand Up Against Our Commie Government?
Pics found at 90 miles: http://ninetymilesfromtyranny.blogspot.com/
Americans know deep inside that things are very dire indeed and getting worse by the second. Overwhelmingly, they no longer believe the economic numbers from the government. Lies – all lies and propaganda. Instead of the bread lines of the last Great Depression, we have EBT Cards, providing the hungry with food. For those who have now been unemployed for years in The Greatest Depression, it doesn’t cut it. Starvation and hunger are still the ever present resident for many. Large numbers of Americans have lost their homes. More than people want to concede live in their cars or on the streets. As the numbers grow, America pretends it just isn’t so, but nevertheless, we have entered a new age of want and need brought to us by Progressives and their neglect, corruption and lack of giving a damn. Welcome to the new age and it is about to get very, very real in the good ole’ USofA. Obamacare was the final trigger coupled with massive printing of money and redistribution of wealth, via Cloward and Piven. The kill shot will be Amnesty.
The IMF goes blunt on the global stage and no one notices:
Much of the Western world will require defaults, a savings tax and higher inflation to clear the way for recovery as debt levels reach a 200-year high, according to a new report by the International Monetary Fund.
The IMF working paper said debt burdens in developed nations have become extreme by any historical measure and will require a wave of haircuts, either negotiated 1930s-style write-offs or the standard mix of measures used by the IMF in its “toolkit” for emerging market blow-ups.
“The size of the problem suggests that restructurings will be needed, for example, in the periphery of Europe, far beyond anything discussed in public to this point,” said the paper, by Harvard professors Carmen Reinhart and Kenneth Rogoff.
The paper said policy elites in the West are still clinging to the illusion that rich countries are different from poorer regions and can therefore chip away at their debts with a blend of austerity cuts, growth, and tinkering (“forbearance”).
But the paper says this mantra borders on “collective amnesia” of European and US history, and is built on “overly optimistic” assumptions that risk doing far more damage to credibility in the end. It is causing the crisis to drag on, blocking a lasting solution. “This denial has led to policies that in some cases risk exacerbating the final costs,” it said.
While use of debt pooling in the eurozone can reduce the need for restructuring or defaults, it comes at the cost of higher burdens for northern taxpayers. This could drag the EMU core states into a recession and aggravate their own debt and ageing crises. The clear implication of the IMF paper is that Germany and the creditor core would do better to bite the bullet on big write-offs immediately rather than buying time with creeping debt mutualisation.
The paper says the Western debt burden is now so big that rich states will need same tonic of debt haircuts, higher inflation and financial repression – defined as an “opaque tax on savers” – as used in countless IMF rescues for emerging markets.
“The magnitude of the overall debt problem facing advanced economies today is difficult to overstate. The current central government debt in advanced economies is approaching a two-century high-water mark,” they said.
Read that very, very carefully. So much for Keynesian economic theory. There is no saving what we have wrought. We can no longer turn back or fix this monstrosity created by the greed of those we entrusted with the leadership of our governments. Waking up to the system is a bitch.
Pension funds will be raided, savings accounts levied, property seized… You only thought you owned that land, in reality, those with the greatest force in the end will take the land unless they are somehow defeated. But the price will be in blood and be high indeed. Interest rates will soar, as will food, gas and utilities as the spiral plays out. Because controls were put on a system that should not have been rigged, it will by necessity collapse. It is not self-healing, but it is self-rectifying. Look for defaults worldwide and the fall of the dollar. It is now not a question of if, but when. Prepare to have your systems blown.
You cannot expect things to get better when you have so many Progressive irons in the communist fire:
- Obamacare Rate Shock
- Higher Taxes
- Higher Interest Rates Mean Larger Debt Payments
- Government Benefit Cuts
- Wealth Confiscation
Tell me you don’t feel it in your bones – this is the transformation of America that Obama promised. We are in the midst of The Greatest Depression and none dare call it what it is. Up is down, black is white. We are told all is fine, the economy is recovering… we are doing better and are stronger than ever. In reality, we are destitute, our military prowess has been gutted and our national wealth has been redistributed, while the Marxists stomp on and jeer at our Constitution. 2014 is the year we fight and we better join forces and take back the Republican Party and get true conservatives elected – the Tea Party has roared to life and millions are preparing for the battle of a lifetime. An American Depression: Extreme Haircut Edition is unfolding in the once land of the free, home of the brave and our leaders are singing: “Let them eat cake!” Just say no to Weimar cake and French-style servitude.
From Trevor Loudon: http://www.trevorloudon.com/
Or, as Bob Belvedere calls him, Saint Nelson of the Blessed Necklace Stacy McCain has posted some more useful context as to what South Africa has become after Saint Nelson rose to power. South Africa has some, shall we say problems, like being the rape capital of the world
Maybe if it had been committed by the Duke lacrosse team, you would have heard of this atrocity by now, but it happened five years ago in another country. Amanda Marcotte probably didn’t notice:
Jamie Paterson, 17: “I was lying down and I could hear them undoing the TV and then throwing it across and then something fell on me. I thought it was the TV, but it was my mother. And then I looked up. And then they dragged her away again and the carpet was covered in blood. They kept saying to my father, ‘We are going to kill you, we are going to kill you now.’ . . .
Alan Paterson (her father): “She was bargaining her flute, she was bargaining her [school] badge. She was doing it, almost knowing what was going to happen to her was almost inevitable.”
Jamie: “He said to me ‘I’m HIV positive. But you’re young, I don’t want to ruin your life. So if you could just give me gold. I want gold, money and I want your gun.’I said to him, ‘We don’t have it.’ He hit me around the head and said, ‘No, you have a gun, don’t lie to me.’”
Bronwyn Paterson (her mother): “They started to fight over her and I knew she was going to be raped.”
Jamie: “And then he took me into the bathroom and locked me in and raped me there.”
You never heard of Jamie Paterson or the criminal gang that attacked her, and I never heard about it either until I saw a video interview with Jamie, which was included at the end of a long post Kathy Shaidle wrote in July about another violent criminal gang:
During the 1950s Mandela was banned, arrested and imprisoned for challenging apartheid . . . and, following the 1960 banning of the ANC, he went underground . . .
During this time, he and other ANC leaders formed its armed wing — Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK). . . .
That “armed wing” carried out terror attacks at shopping centers, movie theaters and other civilian targets . . .
And when Mandela was arrested, the authorities claimed to have uncovered “210,000 hand grenades, 48,000 anti-personnel mines, 1,500 time devices, 144 tons of ammonium nitrate, 21.6 tons of aluminium powder and 1 ton of black powder.”
Governments around the world, such as the ones in the U.S. and Great Britain, placed the ANC on their terror lists, along with the PLO, the IRA and the FLQ.
You really should read the whole thing at PJ Media, because it explains how the violent terrorist Nelson Mandela got an image makeover with the help of liberal celebrities in America and England who jumped aboard the anti-apartheid crusade when it became a fashionable cause in the late 1980s. None of those celebrities live in South Africa, of course, and none of them gave a damn about the epidemic of violent crime that has afflicted South Africa in recent years, an epidemic of which Jamie Paterson and her family were victims.
Go read the whole thing, it is eye-opening and outrage inducing. Including the fact that the murder rate in South Africa is 31.9 per 100,000, as compared to the U.S. rate, at 4.7 per 100,000. But, of course, these are facts the media chooses to sweep under the rug. Mandela, to them, is a Saint, and nothing can challenge their narrative.
From The Daley Gator: http://thedaleygator.wordpress.com/page/2/
WHENEVER a scene of demonic horror occurs in one of our modern indoctrination centers known as schools, we are reminded again of just how much niceness keeps these sterile, ugly, soulless places afloat. Teddy bears, candlelit vigils, a tidal surge of unanimous praise for the niceness of the victim follow nightmarish, bloody carnage. Philip Chism was only 14 years old and yet he stabbed a teacher to death with a craft knife after hiding in a suburban Massachusetts classroom and waiting to accost her. He then placed her body in a recycling bin and walked out the door. He went to the latest Woody Allen movie after dumping the body in the woods and then wandered the streets, alone with his demonic secret in a perfectly nice community.
How can we explain this? There seems to be no way to process it in the vocabulary of nice. Teddy bears, candles and pledges to remember the deceased are the best answers it can give. Even the murderer in this case is believed to have been nice. Of Philip Chism, one of the few blacks in the town of Danvers, Massachusetts, The Daily Mail reports:
Other students, who played soccer with accused 14-year-old Chism, said that he was a really nice boy but incredibly shy and hard to get to know.
One said: ‘He was nice, but really quiet. No one really knew him that well. Apparently when he was arrested he was unresponsive and barely said anything at all.
Beneath the pervasive niceness, there is breathtaking hard-heartedness. One wonders whether Philip Chism, who may have been overwhelmed with phony niceness during his few months in Danvers because he was black and may have been used to demonstrate the wonderful tolerance of others, saw through this in some childish, intuitive way. There is no real love in these places. Where love is not, hatred blooms. It erupts after a period of silent, invisible fermentation. However nice the teacher Colleen Ritzer may have been, she worked for a brutally indifferent institution. She gave herself obliviously to a system that denies God with matter-of-fact efficiency and refuses to teach a student something so basic to life as prayer. Where God is not, Satan is. And he’s just not very nice.

Knowing that we would wind up here does not take a crystal ball. Many have predicted just this scenario, including myself. War is the ultimate solution of leaders who find themselves in a variety of rock and hard place situations. And Barack Obama has stuffed America in the hardest place of all, sealed us in with nuclear weapons and has lit a very short fuse.
Let’s start with the coming race war that the progressives at home are stoking for all they are worth. You saw the ginned up fiasco of the Zimmerman case where Obama claimed that Trayvon Martin could have been his son and then claimed he actually could have been Trayvon Martin — thereby personalizing the racial conflict out of a non-existent racial confrontation. Then we had the Australian, Chris Lane, being shot in the back while jogging last week by three teenagers – 2 black, one mixed. We had a WWII vet named Shorty (88 years-old) beaten to death with flashlights by 2 young black men in Spokane, Washington. Someone was set on fire in a parking lot in Memphis, Tennessee. A young white boy was savagely beaten on a school bus by several black kids and the list goes on and on. This doesn’t begin to list what has been happening for a while now with black on white crime. All of this can be laid directly at the feet of Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Oprah Winfrey and a whole raft of race baiters who have an agenda that envisions race riots in the streets and a new order being born in America.
An employee named Ayo Kimathi, who is the Acquisitions Officer at ICE for the Department of Homeland Security, has a hate-filled, racially motivated site named War on the Horizon that talks about the coming race war. His handle is ‘Irritated Genie.’ The site had to be approved by DHS and the employee has been with the government agency since 2009. He is now on paid leave, which means nothing. It means at some point they will quietly bring this evil race monger back like nothing ever happened. The best part is that this person is the one who ordered ammo and guns for the DHS.
According to reports, this guy is unstable and everyone in the office is afraid of him. He calls President Obama a “treasonous mulatto scum dweller” and rants about whites and their ”effeminization of the black male.”
From The Blaze:
“The 21st century will either mark the return of Black resistance to white domination or global white-on-Black genocide leading to our complete extinction,” the website declares. “Warfare is eminent, and in order for Black people to survive the 21st century, we are going to have to kill a lot of whites – more than our christian hearts can possibly count.”
On its main page, War on the Horizon says preparing for racial warfare includes “intellectual, spiritual, psychological, and physical preparation for a global clash that will mean the end of white rule on this planet or the end of the Black Race as we know it. ”
And there is a lot more hate on this site to go around:
Under the June 2010 article “Goodbye Uncle Tom,” the website lists Rev. Al Sharpton, a “sadistic political white-sex offender…who advocates ‘homosexuality’ among Black people”; Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and former Secretary of State Colin (spelled “Colon”) Powell who will “indirectly assist in the genocide of Black people; Oprah Winfrey, a “wealthy lesbian mammy” who does “everything in her power to assist whites in destroying strong Black manhood; as well as “all rappers,” “all political homos” and “all promoters and supporters of interracial dating/marriage/sex.”
“We must become militant, hostile, violent, and deadly to those individuals and groups in our community who don’t comply to Black decency and Race First standards. We cannot continue to be Black people with white behavior. – Black Afrikans Only!” the website states. “…Once we have largely purged our Race of its Race traitors, war with our natural enemy, the white Race, will intensify and become the single most powerful motivating force in the lives of Afrikan people worldwide.”
Why would you knowingly have someone like this in a government agency with the responsibility and power this guy had? He has been with them four years and the site was approved — so regardless of what they claim, they knew of his inclinations. I would put forth that this is just the kind of individual they want around — one who is extreme and wants violence. One who hates America in general. The fact that he hates most African Americans as well is just a minor annoyance or a contrivance. This is what we have controlling our country now. We have radical Islamists, black power racists, progressives, Marxists, communists and every imaginable corrupt, evil recruit they can find. America has gone to the dark side and we are fighting in the shade. War is coming to America’s streets and neighborhoods and our leaders are the delivery boys.
On to the war abroad…
By now everyone has heard of the supposed chemical attack by Assad in Syria on his own people. I have seen reports of up to 355 dead with 3600 sickened — many being women and children. If true, that is horrific. But there is serious doubt about it being true. The last reported chemical attack turned out to be false and numerous experts claim this one is too.
I have no love of Assad — he’s an evil man, heading an evil regime. But the rebels are composed of al Qaida and the Muslim Brotherhood and are every bit as evil. Much the same can be said of our current government as well. They want this war; it creates worldwide chaos that they desperately need to reset a looted and plundered monetary system and to reform governments closer to their heart’s desire. I’m not the only one who sees this either. From Michael Rivero:
1. Why would Syria’s Assad invite United Nations chemical weapons inspectors to Syria, then launch a chemical weapons attack against women and children on the very day they arrive, just miles from where they are staying?
2. If Assad were going to use chemical weapons, wouldn’t he use them against the hired mercenary army trying to oust him? What does he gain attacking women and children? Nothing! The gain is all on the side of the US Government desperate to get the war agenda going again.
As I type these words, US trained and equipped forces are already across the border into Syria, and US naval forces are sailing into position to launch a massive cruise missile attack into Syria that will surely kill more Syrians than were claimed to have died in the chemical attack.
And he is right. I would suggest there is a strong possibility here of a set-up and an agenda for a much needed war. I would not put it past Assad to use chemical weapons, but it looks too pat and doesn’t make sense. I have seen on the web many, many pictures of dead children from the chemical attacks playing on the sympathies of the world. This is an old, tried and true technique of garnering sympathy in order to do unspeakable things.
Just to be clear, these are the rebels we are backing — from The Blaze (warning: graphic):
Make no mistake, employing the Doctrine of Responsibility to Protect, we are readying for an attack on Syria. Samantha Power, who missed the last UN meeting, was resting up for the conflict ahead. We are moving our warships closer to Syria in preparation for missile attacks when Obama gives his blessing.
Iran and Syria are warning that if we attack Syria, it will set the whole Middle East on fire. I fear that is true. Should we attack Syria, by proxy, we will be attacking Iran and Russia. Qatar and Saudi Arabia will back the US, but only so far and for so long. Hello all-out World War III. China will either wait to pick up the pieces or back Russia. Obama has gutted and severely weakened our military — a full-scale war will cause a further financial collapse in the US and the odds of us prevailing are very poor. Americans overwhelmingly oppose attacking Syria, not that it matters to our Islamist-in-Chief.
Now Britain and France are beating the war drums along with the US. They believe intervening in the Middle East and setting it on fire will cure the world’s economic woes. They have severely underestimated the Jihadists and the plans that Russia has set in motion. Russia must be over the moon with this because it gives them leeway to further their capture of the Middle Eastern territories for land, power, wealth and resources. And as an added bennie, they think they may rid themselves of the Jews and America. Maybe America, never the Jews. Russia is rising in the Middle East and making alliances in the void of leadership America is leaving behind. Already they have wooed Egypt — China is doing the same thing across the planet. Obama wants this — he can destroy America while credibly denying and blaming others. It’s the progressive way.
This all has the feel of the amateur video used as an excuse for Benghazi — it doesn’t pass the smell test. It’s the same players and the same board. Do you think our leaders really give a crap about 355 people supposedly dead in Syria? Come on! Thousands have died. It is way too convenient an excuse to go to war. So, while we point the finger at Assad and ready for war, Americans are besieged from every side with chaos and evil at home, so much so they don’t know what to do or what to think. Just the way Obama wants it.
If this war unfolds (as it will almost assuredly do), tighten your belts. Forget $10 a gallon gas, you’ll be lucky to get gas. And food? I hope you have some. Please prepare now. Things are about to get very interesting in a bad way. Israel has their finger on the ‘trigger’ and they won’t hesitate to defend themselves. We better get ready to defend ourselves as well. A pale horse brings war at home and abroad.
Update: Note — Michael Rivero’s views are not ones I would normally agree with. It has been brought to my attention that he is a Truther and a propagandist for Iran. I do not know if that is correct, but if it is, those are views I ardently oppose. I stand by his points though in this case – they are legitimate.

The Detroit Model worked so Well that Obama and His Cronies Want to Spread it to Every City in The U.S.
The liberal “Model City” Detroit has been a dramatic success for progressive social engineers, pointing the way to our glorious utopian future. Can our wise rulers fundamentally transform all of America into a vast Greater Detroit? Federal bureauweenies at the Department of Housing and Urban Development jut their receding chins into the air and affirm, “Yes we can!”
To ensure that “every American is able to choose to live in a community they feel proud of,” HUD has published a new fair-housing regulation intended to give people access to better neighborhoods than the ones they currently live in.
Why don’t the people pandered to by HUD feel proud of their own neighborhoods? Because they are cesspools. Why are they cesspools? Because the people pandered to by HUD live in them. The solution is obvious: spread the seed of decay to all corners of the country, turn the entire nation into a cesspool, and we will all have equality under our liberal rulers’ heels.
The goal is to help communities understand “fair housing barriers” and “establish clear goals” for “improving integrated living patterns and overcoming historic patterns of segregation.”
Imposing “integrated living patterns” means that if the federal government has its way, no one will have the option of raising their children somewhere safe from crime, violence, and degeneracy.
Once again we see that in the Information Age, our masters forge chains from information. Barks HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan:
“HUD will provide data for every neighborhood in the country, detailing the access African American, Latino, Asian, and other communities have to local assets, including schools, jobs, transportation, and other important neighborhood resources that can play a role in helping people move into the middle class.”
You might notice that the whites who traditionally have constituted the vast majority of the American population are not listed as members of the rainbow utopia. That’s because we are slated for marginalization and eventual eradication. To fundamentally transform is to erase and replace.
The oligarchical collectivist masterminds’ plans are grandiose:
“Make no mistake, this is a big deal,” Donovan said. “With the HUD budget alone, we are talking about billions of dollars.”
The genius is that those $billions are to be stolen from the very people whose neighborhoods will be reduced to slums.
Yet again we see that to take a penny of your own money back from the federal government is to become a vassal of the federal government:
Under the Fair Housing Act, HUD requires grantees, such as cities, that receive federal housing funds to “affirmatively further fair housing.”
Neighborhoods didn’t just drop out of the sky. They were built by the people who live in them. But what Affirmative Action has done to the presidency, it will eventually do to every neighborhood in the country, until they are all exactly the same (excepting the wealthy region ringing Washington). Then people will finally get it through their heads that there is no use building anything because bureaucrats will only snatch it away and hand it over to someone who despises it for destruction. The term for this is “social justice.”

Obama’s Niggers Smack A Houston Grandmother On Her Way To Hospital
Contributed By David Ben Moshe-
The only thing these Nigga’s are doing is inviting a strong white supremacist movement. If they don’t want to be called Niggers, they should not act like this. Join who you wish, I’ll stay with whites. Death is better than being with these savages. To the Jews that are hell-bent on enabling these animals, we hope you die.

Add Jesse to the list of people Zimmerman can sue for libel.
HAYES: Reverend, if, when you’ve just named a number of young black men who have lost their lives to gunshots, some by police officers, some by not. All of which raise tremendous amounts of outrage and frustration and grief.
And my question to you is, if what is playing into these deaths, if what played into the death of Trayvon Martin are hundreds of years of history, of stereotyping, of prejudice and bias, of apprehensions of young black men, of the way that they are portrayed in our society, in the policies that target them, as a practical matter of law enforcement, what is the solution, then? If we can’t undo that history, what will prevent the next Trayvon Martin in your mind?
JACKSON: Well, it’s slow progress. It is, in fact, Emmett Till who was killed and the juror said they know that the killers were guilty but they didn’t see his life worth a white men going to jail for. Then you have another dimension when Medgar Evers was killed in the same basic premise, an all-white jury that frees the known killers.
Now, you have the case here of a known murderer who profiled, racially profiled Trayvon and pursued him over the objections of the dispatchers, didn’t want to let another little punk get away, then he murdered him and walked away from the dead body and gave his gun to the police department where he found sanctuary for 44 days. It is amazing the similarities of pattern. But yet again, this undercurrent of retrogression. We see progress in so many areas. We will not let even this break our spirit.

Zimmerman Parents in Hiding After Death Threats Newsmax, July 16, 2013
Fearing for their lives after receiving “an enormous amount of death threats,” George Zimmerman’s parents have remained in hiding since a Florida jury cleared their son of murder charges in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, they told ABC News.
The Zimmermans told ABC they are too afraid to return to their Orlando home, and they haven’t even spoken to their son, who also is in hiding.
“Under the circumstances, we have not been able to talk to him,” Gladys Zimmerman told ABC’s Barbara Walters. “To tell you the truth, we don’t trust anything, not even the phones.”
“We have had an enormous amount of death threats. George’s legal counsel has had death threats, the police chief of Sanford, many people have had death threats,” Robert Zimmerman said. “‘Everyone with Georgie’s DNA should be killed’ — Just every kind of horrible thing you can imagine.”
The Los Angeles Riots of 1965 and 1992. Found at American Digest.
Maybe it takes someone who has been where we are going to grasp the implications of the liberal establishment continuing to persecute George Zimmerman after he was found not guilty by a jury of his peers. David Storobin is a former New York State Senator and candidate for New York City Council. He puts the irresponsible demagogues running for or serving as mayor of NYC to shame:
In 1937, my great-grandfather Baruch was having dinner with his wife and 8 children in a small Belarus shtetl when he heard a door knock. The sight of him leaving the kitchen to go open the door was the last time his wife and kids saw him, as he was arrested by the NKVD for espionage. For twenty years, his wife was writing to find out his fate, the last of which begged, “Five of our sons died fighting for this country in World War II. The others aren’t asking for Baruch to be let out. We just want to know if he is alive.”
Those who might think being charged with espionage by the NKVD implies any likelihood of wrongdoing are referred to The Gulag Archipelago, which documents how victims of the Soviet system were collected almost totally randomly as part of a strategy of rule by terror.
My grandfather, a WWII hero, died never knowing what happened to his dad. We only found out in 2009 that Baruch was accused of espionage and when he refused to confess, was tortured to death. Then the dead man was somehow still convicted because that is what the Soviet politicians wanted.
This is why I’m a lawyer. And this is why I abhor the conduct of the Democratic Party politicians who are fanning the flames of race-baiting in the George Zimmerman case.
The man has been found Not Guilty. That’s the difference between the US and the Soviet Union – a jury independent of the politicians, a defendant who has real rights. No, dear liberals, nobody cares what you think. You did not hear the full extent of the evidence, only a few clips from whatever side you chose to hear it from.
No one in a position of authority cares if a cheap hoodlum came to a just end by trying to kill someone who turned out to be able to defend himself. The welfare state produces Trayvon Martins by the millions. The Passion of Saint Skittles, like every other farce staged by the government/media axis, is a power play intended to move us one step closer to the nightmare world of unrestricted government force that made life hell for Storobin’s ancestors.
Governments govern through a system of laws, yet that very system, if its integrity is maintained, protects us from the government. This is why tyrants prefer mob rule, with themselves serving as the voice of the mob.

Will the Zimmerman Trial Verdict
Spark L.A.-Style Riots?

Marxist protesters in California display posters bearing
the logo of the Party for Socialism and Liberation.
“History interests the radical elite only as it can be used to foment anti-capitalist passions, and they cherry-pick history to fit their own leftist interpretations, so that the past means exactly what they say it means and nothing else. . . .
“Schools today teach history mainly as a relentless harangue about how oppressively evil America has always been. Such tendentious sermonizing is boring, and young people respond by learning only enough history to ace their dumbed-down coursework.”

Anarchist smashes Oakland window after anti-Zimmerman protest.
Frankly, after all the media hype about the potential of nationwide rioting if George Zimmerman wasn’t convicted — and all the protesters chanting “No Justice! No Peace!” — I was surprised the Baltimore Bolsheviks didn’t get their dream of a Marxist revolution. But that hasn’t happened yet and the only violence Saturday night was in Oakland:
Protesters angered by the acquittal of George Zimmerman held largely peaceful demonstrations in three California cities, but broke windows and started small street fires Oakland, police said. . . .
The Oakland police dispatch office said about 100 people protested, with some in the crowd breaking windows on businesses and starting small fires in the streets. . . .
Local media reports said some Oakland marchers vandalized a police squad car . . .
The Oakland Tribune said some windows on the newspaper’s downtown offices were broken, and footage from a television helicopter show people attempting to start fires in the street and spray painting anti-police graffiti.
Protesters also reportedly burned an American and a California state flag and spray painted Alameda County’s Davidson courthouse.
Question: What kind of person believes that “anti-police graffiti” in Oakland is justified by the result of a murder trial in Florida?
Answer: A typical Democrat voter.
Ignorance proliferates, weak-minded people embrace irrational folly and this explains why Harry Reid is Senate Majority Leader.
Meanwhile, media malpractice continues. Patterico had to explain that the trial was not about whether Trayvon Martin “deserved to die” – which no intelligent or sane person ever argued. But intelligent and sane people aren’t employed at the Tampa Bay Times, and the proliferation of kooks and zanies is becoming a serious social problem in America. I blame the media, and also an education system that fails to teach young people the most important lesson of youth: You’re ignorant.
All young people are ignorant, in comparison to educated adults, but some of us were fortunate enough to have teachers who explained to us how ignorant we were. Our teachers taught us we had an obligation — if we did not want to grow up to be complete fools — to educate ourselves, and otherwise to shut up about things we didn’t know anything about. And today’s lesson, children, is Basit Kassim:
You never picked cotton, young man, and I never made anybody pick cotton. One hundred fifty years ago, there was a war.
Six hundred thousand men died in that war.
My great-great grandfather Winston Wood Bolt was a private in the 13th Alabama Infantry Regiment. He was captured on the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg, along with Brig. Gen. James Archer, and Private Bolt spent the rest of the war imprisoned at Fort Delaware.
He was fortunate, really, because two days after he was captured, his regiment was in the vanguard of Pickett’s Charge, where their colonel, Birkett Davenport Fry, was seriously wounded and many of those Alabama boys were hastened to eternity by the cannons blasting double loads of canister and by volleys of Yankee rifle fire.
Students of history would be hard-pressed to argue that the deaths of 600,000 men were an insufficient sum to do justice to whatever anyone may suggest led America to that war. Nor was the death toll the entirety of the price paid. We must add to the balance the men horribly maimed who somehow survived, including Winston Bolt’s brother, a corporal who managed to escape capture or death at Gettysburg, only to lose an arm at the Wilderness in 1864.
“Y’all people made us pick cotton?”
Who is this “y’all,” and who is “us”? You never picked any cotton, Basit, and I never made you pick it. Whence this idea that there is some sort of permanent system of collective guilt and collective victimhood, where people who never once in their own lives suffered injustice can claim an eternal cause of grievance against people they don’t even know?
My great-grandfather died long before I was ever born, but I knew his daughter — my grandmother, who lived past 90 — and she lived in a farmhouse on the red clay hills of Randolph County, Alabama, near the Little Tallapoosa River. There was no indoor plumbing. She drew her water from a well and cooked on a wood stove.
“Y’all people made us pick cotton?”
You never picked cotton, Basit, but my parents did. My aunts and uncles and grandparents picked cotton. Picked cotton all day long in the Alabama sun until their fingers bled, and took great pride in the fact that they earned a living by their own labor.
When my father was 16, he told my grandmother she would never have to worry about him. He moved to West Point, Georgia, and took a job at a cotton mill to pay his room and board so he could attend West Point High School, where he made the All-Valley football team playing end for the Red Raiders. College recruiters were interested in Bill McCain, but two weeks before his 18th birthday, the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. He joined the Army and was a sergeant in a forward reconnaissance unit in France when, one morning in 1944, he was cooking breakfast outside a farmhouse when an artillery shell hit. A shard of shrapnel hit him at the base of his neck, and came with a fraction of an inch of killing him. The medic told him, “You got a million-dollar wound, Mack” — not crippled or maimed, but bad enough he’d never have to go back into combat.
My Dad grew up on a Randolph County farm during the Depression, worked his way through high school, earned a Purple Heart fighting the Nazis in France, and attended the University of Alabama on the G.I. Bill. He moved to Atlanta after he graduated from Tuscaloosa, and worked 37 years at the Lockheed aircraft plant in Marietta. “Hold your head up, boy,” he’d say. “Ain’t nobody better than you.”
“Y’all people made us pick cotton?”
Damn, Basit. Just . . . damn.
Why not put your mind to the task of curing your own ignorance? My great-grandfather, the one who was captured at Gettysburg, was an illiterate farmboy who signed his name with an “X.” This was perhaps not entirely his own fault, as opportunities for education were not as abundant in antebellum Alabama as they are today, and literacy wasn’t particularly crucial to a life of plowing with mules, chopping firewood, hoeing corn and so forth. My education therefore does not make me superior to my illiterate ancestors, but if I put my mind to it — and worked as hard at learning as my ancestors worked at farming — what limit could there be to what I might achieve?
A knowledge of history — especially the lives and labors of one’s own ancestors — can be a tremendous inspiration, as we strive to live up to our family’s share of an inherited glory, to conduct ourselves so that it may be said we have brought honor to their legacy.
My son serves his nation in the U.S. Army. My daughter, who worked her way through college and graduated summa cum laude, teaches at an elementary school where most of her students are the children of Haitian immigrants. These are just two of my six children, all of whom are equally heirs to an honorable past, with a duty to work hard and make themselves useful to their fellow man.
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
– Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
What more can we say to Basit Kassim who, thinking he might insult honest people, has brought such shame to himself, exposing his own ignorance, for which he has no excuse? Has he ever read Thomas Sowell’s The Quest for Cosmic Justice? Has Basit Kassim ever read The Vision of the Anointed or Shelby Steele’s White Guilt?
Has this young fool ever read any book that might enlighten him or improve his feeble mind? But why should we single out Basit Kassim, except as an example of the immeasurable universe of ignorance that our taxpayer-funded education system has created?
Ignorance has become so pervasive in America that these young fools never meet an educated man, but live in a benighted world where outright lies are accepted as Conventional Wisdom, where professional journalists are paid to write disgraceful falsehoods:
George Zimmerman shot a 17-year-old through the heart on a rainy night in February 2012. Now, finally, nearly 17 months later, a jury will try to decide whether the dead boy deserved it.
Zimmerman contends he did.
Nobody is saying Trayvon Martin “deserved it,” and it is astonishing that the Tampa Bay Times would employ a reporter who would write such a dishonest sentence, or editors who would let that lie appear in print. If this is what the media are telling people — and cable TV news has been crammed full of idiotic nonsense as bad as or even worse than this — are we surprised that rioters in Oakland think a good way to protest the Zimmerman verdict is to smash windows of downtown businesses and spray-paint anti-police graffiti?
I repeat: “Your TV is making you crazy.”
Turn off your TV and read a book, perhaps even The Good Book.
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
– II Thessalonians 2:11-12 (KJV)
And let all God’s children say, Amen.
