Homeland Security full of…Crooks! Not Suprising Since The Head, Janet Lesbo Lizzy is a Criminal as Well.
Vast Number of DHS Employees Convicted of Crimes
The widespread feeling that the federal government is a criminal operation has been confirmed:
There have been 2,527 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) employees and co-conspirators convicted of corruption and other criminal misconduct since 2004, according to a federal auditor.
Charles Edwards, the acting inspector general (IG) at DHS, made that revelation in written testimony prepared for an Aug. 1 hearing held by the House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Government Organization, Efficiency, and Financial Management.
At least with an IG investigating and all these crooks convicted, DHS and its many sub-bureaucracies are all cleaned up now, right? Wrong:
The IG has transferred hundreds of cases to ICE and CBP, allowing them to investigate their own misconduct, something that opens the door for a “conflict of interest,” said Subcommittee Chairman Todd Platts (R-Pa.).
Eighty criminal misconduct investigations are being reviewed “after allegations surfaced that IG agents were ‘fabricating’ their progress on investigating the cases.” Reviewed by whom? Other presumably corrupt and irresponsible bureaucrats, who else?
