This is an Example of The People That Supported the Gay “Kiss-In” at Chick-fil-a – Any More Need to be Said?

Hollywood Chick-fil-A ‘Kiss-In’ Day: ‘Jesus Is a C*nt’

These people are deranged, to state the blatantly obvious.

Hey, it’s free speech!

This Sunday, let’s all offer prayers and masses for this guy and win him back over to our side.

Excuse the bluntness… but USA is terribly messed up. I’m not talking about the Gay Marriage issue – which is simply beyond the pale… (as if marriage were some sort of sentimental thing about people liking each other and not the factory of life).

What’s indicative of the American malaise – to my eyes – is the leveraged importance of a restauranteur, (basically a guy who makes chicken sandwiches), who through the evil of franchising, has become so hugely important.

Chick-fil-a is presented as some sort of bastion of Christianity… imagine that! A corporate fast food chain in which someone can work 40 years without learning a damn thing about food… a place where the manners, the decor, the responses, the attitudes the prices, the payment practices are all decided – often – thousands of miles away by managers.

I compare it to my one-of-a-kind bar/café/eatery here in Italy run by two ladies… The humanity of it is breathtaking… Though working very hard and well, they mother (give special attention to) at least 3 kids, especially the unfortunate ones who’ve lost a parent…

Everyone has a tab – if so desired (and personally trusted). There are debates among the patrons – sometimes loud, but mostly correct and interesting – real – no political correctness.

New recipes are invented and sometimes offered… And the publicity is not some jingle-silly coast-to-coast multi-million dollar extravaganza, but: “Today I made a new tiramisu – taste it! Whaddya say?”

There are impromptu birthday parties with candle-bedecked cakes suddenly coming out with bottle of spumante.

One breathes an atmosphere of freedom and virtue – FREEDOM and VIRTUE – which are the true prerequisites of anything called Christian.

Oh and the clients are multi-ethnic, lots of Albanian / Romanian / Polish workers… And then there’s Tam the black-as-coal guy from Senegal who married Simona, from Sardegna… Their little girl Abistella is the darling of the place… Imagine that… Go to a Chick-Fil-A and watch an AbiStella learning how to walk and talk and dance. Watch her being loved by a whole microcosm – a real community.

Also witness – if you can – two stray cats being adopted by someone who used to hate cats and is now love-silly about them.

None of the thousands of stories of utter wonderfulness I can tell about my Christian eatery would be possible at a Chick-Fil-A or a McDonalds… because their huge corporate structure would collapse in a setting of true FREEDOM and VIRTUE where everything is focused on the bottom line.

So Chick-Fil-A is leveraged, corporate Christianity – devoid of the humanity required among Christians really wanting a Christian community. It is rational protestantism at its worst…. money money money…. success… success.. success… But the humanity? Oh yes, they shell out money to lobbies and charities, sure sure… But the actual places are: “Have a nice day – Next!” Humanity zero.

Jesus will return with a rod of iron, I believe he will start with this guy first, is that mean? No not at ALL. If the church will wake up and know defense of Christ is not A WarM Fuzzy feeling, no, its about casting out Demons and setting captives free, LOVE IS AN ACTION WORD!

Correction (sorry) … Where everything is NOT focused on the bottom line.

Take a look at that poor Idiot with his “Jesus is a cunt” T-shirt… He and that standard Chick-Fil-A outlet (seen one, seen a thousand) are a pretty good match for one another. For both Jesus (the God-man) is a notion. One likes the notion, the other hates it.

But Jesus is not just theology/philosophy… He is found in the lingerings of good people. That “creep” would never have a chance to express so much hate at my Christian eatery. He simply would never feel the inclination (I mean short of severe pathological problems). He’d find the irreligious to agree with, but in an environment of sense, meaning, feeling, responsibility.

First of all, it would make no sense to go to Barbara and Patrizia’s place to make an ideological statement… for though very important in the local society, their opinions are not absurdly leveraged.

Unlike the huge franchises and mega-corporations that have lobbies and tons of money to throw around at politicians, my eatery can – at worst – hope to corrupt a local cop and at best – volunteer to help people find jobs and homes to rent.

Yes, look at that picture. The creep sees a church of Have-a-nice-day, run by people made in the image of the boss and not of God. It’s busy and efficient inside, no doubt “well-run” but it’s a system. Do the patrons know their servers… Can a little boy go behind the counter and “pretend to help”… Can a server decide to give him a free ice cream?

No can do. The clock is ticking – money money money – efficiency efficiency efficiency. Job job job. Rules rules rules…. the same in 1600 locations and expanding. So they must be doing something right, eh? Sure, providing low-paying jobs to students (who dream of getting academic credits for a “real” job) – ’cause there’s no real honor in THAT job. And the hundreds of small-owned places? Wiped out. 1 owner, lots of wage slaves.
