Christian Chaplains Can’t Pray in Jesus Name? So Mooslims Can’t Pray in the Name of allah? What Do You Think?

Considering that this country was settled by pilgrims escaping persecution for their religious beliefs, it is unsurprising that the very first amendment to the Constitution was intended to defend our right to religious freedom. Considering that everything they think and do is perverse, it is equally unsurprising that progressives use that same First Amendment as a pretext to suppress the very mention of Jesus Christ.

Volunteer chaplains in North Carolina’s Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department have been told not to use Jesus’ name in prayers at public events held on government property.

Pastor Terry Sartain of Horizon Christian Fellowship told FOX News Radio he was informed of the change by his superior major just before he was about to give a invocation at a promotion ceremony. …

He told the news station that he was informed the police department said he could still pray but they wanted chaplains to deliver a ‘secular prayer.’

A “secular prayer.” You know, like dry water.

Major John Diggs, who oversees the chaplain program, told WSOC that the new policy is a ‘matter of respecting that people may have different faiths and that it is not aimed at any one religion or denomination.’

That is, we must turn against the most fundamental principles upon which our society was founded or it might offend the Muslims who want to obliterate us. It all makes sense, provided you view life in a funhouse mirror.
